I keep seeing how the weather has persisted in being not great, so I'm so happy we had the beautiful days we did, especially since I definitely didn't have anything else planned on our walking day out in the Cotswolds! I was prepared for the British football fans from all my friends in the UK, but I'm someone who loves the people watching involved in sporting events and frankly, I always wish Canadian fans were louder. Canadian hockey fans are only loud when they're very drunk and very stupid, which I guess makes them not different from British fans, but somehow their running commentary isn't funny or entertaining! Honestly, I'm happy I saw some Aston Villa fans carted out because I felt like I got a real British football experience! All the other fans we saw at both games were really nice, and we had no bad experiences with the hundreds of people we walked to the tube with. I had a good time, but I do like going to big sports events, and my husband had a great time so his birthday was a success!
I hope you gave your family and friends the standard Dominion warning that you would be bringing it up in conversation for the next decade. My poor, patient loved ones have heard about this book daily since I read it 😂😂😂

I started Dominion on audio a few days ago, and yes! So well written and fascinating!
