If you're liking the marriage portrait, highly recommend TheDeadly Sisterhood by Leonie frieda, if you haven't already read it. Non fiction about several influential women in Renaissance Italy. Her biography of Catherine de Medici is also great, tho I am very concerned that the TV version that's just come out will be full of second wave feminism and anti Catholic revisionist history 🤦♀️😬. Anyway the books are great!
