My husband and I have wanted to re-read A Canticle for Lebowitz, and it somehow comes up every once in a while! I had forgotten what is was about so your summary was enough to spark my interest again. And Close Reads conversations are always a great help!
What are your fave Barbara Pym? I enjoyed Excellent Women and another whose title I forget 😳. I started Some Tame Gazelle but found it kind of boring so I dropped it. There were only so many dinners with clergy I could take lol.
I can’t wait to hear all about your December comfort reads - sounds perfect for me!

Agreed 100% about Fourth Wing. 😁 also that ending though *reluctant slow clap*
